CONVERTING END OF LIFE PLASTICS INTO LIQUID FUEL

Sustainable Process

Cynar was founded to help address the global plastic waste problem and we incorporate environmental stewardship and sustainability into everything we do.

Our sustainable TAC process begins with non-recyclable end-of-life waste plastics (excluding PET and PVC), typically sourced from co-located waste facilities. The plastics are processed to remove impurities (e.g., metal or nylon) which are recycled where possible, before being heated at a very high temperature in the absence of oxygen, preventing combustion. This anaerobic conversion is efficient whilst ensuring minimal emissions. The synthetic gas generated by the TAC process is then recycled to heat the furnaces.

The result is 900 litres of alternative liquid fuels produced for every 1 tonne of ELP. CynFuel™ is a truly sustainable fuel for a circular economy.
