CONVERTING END OF LIFE PLASTICS INTO LIQUID FUEL
Michael Murray, a Chartered Director, has over 24 years experience in the business world founding companies and developing technology in telecommunications, construction, waste management and recycling.
Michael’s corporate career began in Saudi Arabia in 1991 where he founded and headed up AHMTL Limited, a joint venture with a local partner. As CEO, Michael developed the organisation into one of the largest telecom service providers in the Eastern Province. Returning to London in the mid-nineties, he started Oren Limited which was a successful telecom infrastructure design and build company. At this time he also became a founding director of EcoSafe Systems Limited which grew to be the largest medical waste treatment organisation in Ireland and was later sold to an international group.
Following the sale of Oren Limited in 2003, Michael took the opportunity to follow his passion for recycling and alternative fuels. He started Cynar Plc in 2004 out of a desire to put his time, effort and energy into something worthwhile that can make a difference to the planet and has the potential to leave this world a slightly better place.
More than a decade on, Cynar is the industry forerunner in commercialised plastic to alternative fuel technology and has won numerous awards for sustainable energy, leadership and technological innovation. Michael is now leading his team in developing the market in Europe, North and South America and Australasia.
