CONVERTING END OF LIFE PLASTICS INTO LIQUID FUEL

About Cynar Plc

Cynar Plc is a privately owned Technology company, established in 2004, with a focus on finding solutions for end of life plastics (ELP). Cynar has developed, and has patented Technology which converts a wide range of waste plastics into useable liquid fuels, mainly diesel, which Cynar calls end of life plastic to diesel (ELPD). Cynar’s unique Technology produces synthetic fuels that are cleaner, low in sulphur, and in the case of diesel, a higher cetane than generic diesel fuel from grades #2, 4, 5, 6 waste plastics.

Global Directives through EU regulators, US regulators, Asian import taxes etc are setting stringent standards to reduce the impact of waste plastics on the environment, thus driving benefits of waste plastic segregation, recycling and providing a suitable Cynar waste plastic feedstock.

Visions of zero plastics to landfill by 2020 and reduced carbon emissions globally support alternative solutions and waste recovery which Cynar Technology offers as part of its sustainable and profitable means of managing the growing issue of end of life plastics.

Cynar has chosen significant strategic partners in the development and design of its unique Technology. For example, in 2012 Cynar signed an agreement with Loughborough University in the UK to partner in the further advancement and optimisation of the Technology. This strategic partnership will assist in ensuring that the Cynar Technology will remain a leader in the pyrolysis of end of life plastics to liquid fuel.
